Amazing Grace is a powerful book for young children and an excellent read for 1st-3rd grade. Grace is a young girl who works hard to achieve her dream and goals. Even though she is a girl, she does not let those around her stop her from doing exactly what she sets out to do. A fun activity to go along with this book is to have the kids write about what they want to be when they grow up. To make it extra fun, it could be a dress up day!
